22-Jan-2010 -- Work sees me down in the South-West region of the country, it is a typical wet, cold & miserable winter's day. So what better way to brighten it up by calling back in at an old friend. The only land based point in the UK to lie in the Eastern hemisphere.

Parked up at the entrance to the old airfield, on with the waterproof (see pic of GPS) and set off down the track and into the edge of the field very carefully. I'd left my walking boots at home so this visit was done while wearing ordinary shoes!

The pictures show you how muddy it is, on the way out I saw a bird scarer. It is connected to a gas cylinder and a battery, endless "bangs" without reloading cartridges all the time.
