#8: Divanlar at the foot of the mountains the Confluence is situated on. The track into the mountains can be seen faintly in the picture's background

#9: Since I passed Divanlar, the whole terrain was teeming with gophers who ran away and hid in their lairs from my approaching car

#10: View in direction north towards the Confluence from about 1.5 km distance. The spot is approximately in the picture's centre

#11: One of the non-aggressive shepherd dogs, whose curiosity was stirred by my presence at the Confluence.
