Very easy access just north of the Altai to Bayankhongor main track. The grassland was actually a lot smoother than the tracks for diving on around here and you can see how the Mongolian multi-lane highways got as wide as they are…

Visited in the morning, some great wispy cloudscapes and pleasant weather.

Two more confluences were visited earlier this trip, 45N 101E and 46N 100E. For this one and the last one I forgot to take the first photo looking to the confluence - doh! Anyway, they had both been visited before.
