10-Jul-2001 -- This confluence is close to a road and very easy to get to although it is on private property. This area is reasonably high rainfall and the soil is heavy clay, making it unsuitable for tilling to any real extent. It is beef cattle farming and there are many River Red gums (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) throughout all paddocks.
The land is very flat and there are numerous small lakes about.
I parked on the road and walked about 400 metres to the southeast to get to the confluence which is near a gate and a couple of trees.
