25-May-2011 -- This is one of the most beautiful confluence points that I've ever visited. It lies on the edge of an alpine pasture, west of Butte, Montana. It's just a 1/4 mile walk (each way) from (paved) highway 274, so it's quite easy to visit. The only problem I had was that, because of heavy rain in the past few days, the ground - en route to the confluence point - was very boggy, and I had to cross a stream that came up to my knees.
