07-Aug-2009 -- This is the 80th of a series of 83 confluence visits during our voyage from Nigeria to Europe and back to Nigeria around the entire African continent. It all started on 28 January 2008 at 11N 5E.

Story continues from 20S 16E.

We were driving from Lobito and took the road towards Huambo. We followed this road for about 40 kilometres, then we turned off onto the road leading towards Sumbe. We followed this road for about 40 km again. This main road leads as close as 650 meters to the Confluence. We found a very small path and managed to drive to the Confluence.
