Bueno, a bajarse y a caminar...

On VIAJEROS (travelers) we meet friends, new and old, with the objective to look over the Great Argentine Geography.
We always have good excuse to find an unknown place.
With the challenge of "hunting" confluences we find a motivation to get closer to places that don’t have many tourist interest but yes they show the beautiful sights of this country.
This year we have the purpose of hunting 20 confluences in 10 days.
The S32 W66 was one of them, really the 4th.
We where 8 peoples and 4 trucks
On Saturday 7 of August we already made S34 W65 and S33 W66, on the morning of the 8 of August we made S32 W66, we where trying to hurry up to make two more on that day.
The first one was the S32 W67 , this one is on San Juan Province, on the area of Sierra las Guayaguas, antique places of cowboys that attack and assault the covered wagon and old times travelers that dare to go trough those deserts.
The satellite photographs show us that we hade to leave the comfortable Road RN20 with north direction to Barzola place, over a precarious road of sand and dirt.
This is a region where not far away on time exist and still can been seen, undercover aircraft landing spots. That where used by contrabandist .
After running about 30km of this road and nearby Barzola, we start searching the path that will get closer to the west, where the confluence was.
We only get ahead of a gate with a chains and locks. We went back to principal road. We get inside a dry water stream, that close itself on thorny bushes.
Lucky ahead was a recent open path, that take us directly to the confluence !!!
Unlucky only at 3000 meters the path end on a abandoned corrals and artificial small lagoon.
Well down from the vehicles and to walk.
This was 3000meters avoiding thorny bushes , one way , so that you can see the photographs, of the exact site, where the parallel south 32 and the meridian west 67 cross themselves, and after again 3000 meters back. Here the photographs.
We went back to the trucks very hungry, it was 3 o’clock on the afternoon a not yet lunched. Fast, fast, we still had to make other confluence before the sun sets!!

passare nello stile Far West.
