21-Oct-2018 -- Visit to this confluence was long due. Kailash had long been planning to visit the site since his visit to 23°N 82°W in 2011. From satellite images, we knew that the confluence lies in a pond. Also, the locality was new and we were not sure if it would be safe to visit the place without some local person to company.
As it happened, I recently got transferred and posted at a place very near from the confluence, and we once again got on the plan to visit it at the earliest.
Kailash visited my place on 20.10.2018 and we took a bike and started from Chamorshi towards the confluence. After going about 12 km towards Gadchiroli, we took a right turn towards village Kunghada Raiyatwari. We rode through the village and at one point took left on a dirt track towards the confluence. We could take our bike within almost 100 meter from the confluence. At that point, we parked our bike roadside and took a path through paddy fields towards the pond. We stood on the side barrier of the pond and the confluence was within 20 meter from us. The pond seemed somewhat deep and was in no way safe to descend into it. We took GPS recordings, took photographs, and completed our visit.
The confluence is very easy to visit and one can almost reach there with a motor vehicle.
