30-May-2012 -- The area is grey self mulching clay that has been cleared of the majority of it's timber, the main vegetation is buffel grass for cattle grazing.
The three of us rode motorbikes from Brisbane, camping overnight at Mitchell and Tambo on the way out.
On the day of the confluence visit we rode from Tambo along Langlo Road to a point where the road was closest to the confluence.
From there we walked about 5.5km each way to the confluence and return, the cattle we saw while walking were in good condition, we also quite a variety of birdlife, a fair few Kangaroos, a couple Emus and a small Brown Snake.
