27-Oct-2002 -- Our Australian tour was drawing to an end, but I needed one last blast of the Outback... and of course there just happened to be another confluence or two along the route I chose.
After going to Flinders Ranges and Gammons Ranges National Parks and bagging 31°S 139°E, I headed up over the north end of the Flinders Range to join the Strzelecki Track and head south.
This confluence is just 516 meters due north of the track. I hopped out, with the Goddess of course, and we quickly found the spot. We built a small cairn to mark the spot. Back in the troopy, we headed towards Lyndhurst and the paved roads.
This was the last of our Outback tour and probably the last Australian confluence I will do. From here we will return to the USA and see if there are any more confluences left to do there. We hope to ship the troopy to South Africa in March or so -- there are lots of undone confluences in Africa!!
