07-Feb-2007 -- We had planned to spend the night at a small town West of Gunnedah but the camp site was very close to the road and there was no shade so we skipped that place and went for a second confluence of the day.
I had looked that one up on Google earth and it appeared that there were some roads leading very close to it. I didn't get my hopes up too much, it could have been tracks on a private property. It turned out that they were public roads so I was in luck again.
After meandering our way, we came to someone's house and the lady I saw there was very friendly and let me drive as close as I wanted to get to the spot and I did just that. That took us to about 200 metres to where we were headed. My son and youngest daughter came out for a stroll and we all stretched our legs to where two invisible lines cross each other. It happened to be in a wheat field (harvested) and there is a lot of it on this 4000 acre property.
We're going to see what's at 31S 151E after a good night's sleep
