10-Mar-2002 -- Tintinallogy Station, NSW.
Continued from 32S142E.
Coming from Menindee, and armed with a Tupperware container filled with cold pizza from the night before, we took the road to Wilcannia running on the eastern side of the Darling River.
I believe this area floods quite regularly, so it was comparatively green and flat.
Not long after passing Barraroo Station, we were on Tintinallogy Station. We drove into an empty paddock just after a cattle grid at 32.00511ºS 143.00620ºE which was about 800 metres short of the confluence. We parked next a fence with 400 metres to go and Jamie and I walked out to the confluence.
The paddock had some cattle in it, but they were all hundreds of metres away. We had to watch our step very carefully as there were what I think were rabbit burrows everywhere.
The confluence was in a slightly raised area with a nice view of the surrounding grazing country.
