02-Dec-2014 -- After visiting 34S 117E, I continued north on the Albany Highway, then turned eastward, through a vast sheep and wheat farming region. I first passed through the small, tidy farming town of Wagin (with its "Giant Ram" statue), and continued past two large salt lakes: Lake Dumbleyung and Lake Grace. Then, at the town of Newdegate (what a funny name!), I turned left (northwards) onto Newdegate Road North. I then turned left (westward) onto Biddy Camm Road (another funny name!), which passes just 100 m south of the confluence point.
The confluence point lies in a farm field - currently fallow. Visible to the east is a small irrigation pond.
I then continued on mostly dirt roads through the Dragon Rocks Nature Preserve to Wave Rock and the town of Hyden - ending a long but fun day of exploring!
