10-Dec-2008 -- This is the 50th of a series of 83 confluence visits during our voyage from Nigeria to Europe and back to Nigeria around the entire African continent. It all started on 28 January at 11N 5E.

Story continues from 14N 34E.

After the disappointment not to get to the previous Confluence, this Confluence proved to be very easy to visit. The main road from Wad Madanī to al-Qaḍārif bypasses as close as 1500 meters to the Confluence.

There is a village and all we had to do was drive through the village and the road lead directly to the Confluence.
