24-Nov-2006 -- We are surveyors and work for a Libyan oil company. From our oilfield in the Sahara Desert this confluence point is approximately 45 km due west. We drove directly through the Sahara from our oilfield to this point and it took us about 90 minutes to reach the location.

To reach this point from Zilla, head towards Waddān on the blacktop and after approximately 78 km, go off-road and head north-east for about 35 km. Coming from Waddān, take the blacktop towards Zilla and after approximately 84 km, head north-east for about 35 km.
