(visited by Jonathan Devor)

12-Apr-2012 -- I came together with friends in order to place a Geocache at the confluence point, see here. For information on Geocaching, see here.

We parked off road, at 30°0.032'N 34°58.741'E, then proceeded eastward to hike in by foot - it's just over 2 km hike each way. The hike itself is easy to moderate, though one must come equipped to handle the desert sun (hat, sunscreen, water, etc). The terrain is essentially flat until the last 300 m, where one must climb roughly 50 m. Don't miss the tumbleweeds growing in the riverbed, as well as the fossils strewn around the confluence point itself.

We constructed a "rujum" (a rock pile marker) at the confluence point, and placed the cache container at the side of its base. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE APART THE RUJUM, it is meant to protect the cache from sliding down hill.
