The road from the ancient dam in the plains at Šūštar to the oilfield in the hills at Masjed-e Soleymān (MIS) passes within 1.3 km of Confluence 32N 49E. The road, some 15 km ESE Šūštar, crosses a number of dry wādiys (some with bridges) with seasonal drainage from higher ground to the north of the road.
