21-Apr-2023 -- A sunny, cool, spring afternoon, 70°F with a light breeze. I drove through Manchester, Oklahoma en route from 37N 99W (directly to the west) and parked at 1:30pm in this lot where it was an easy five minute walk along the road, under an unmarked barbed wire fence, and gingerly through a field of shin-high wheat to the point. After taking the requisite pictures of the confluence, my eleventh in Kansas, I was back to my rental car by 1:45pm and off to one more confluence to the south (which proved to be unsuccessful...) before continuing on to Norman, Oklahoma for a weekend with old grad school friends.
