04-Jul-2001 -- Our second confluence of the day was not as close to the road (us 34) as our first. We parked on the longitudinal line and began to hike south about 1/2 mile through an oat field and some pasture. We dropped into a small valley and there was the confluence, near the edge of a briar patch. The view was not too spectacular, due to the valley. We snapped a couple of pictures and headed for home. All in all, a good day, 2 confluences done, good way to spend the 4th of July.
