27-Jun-2010 -- The way to approach is almost same as Hideaki reported.
The differences are:
- 1. I am alone.
- 2. It is just passed the summer solstice and sunset is after 7 PM.
- 3. It was fine for over three days, so the stream is easy to walk or trace.
I parked my car at the gate of a carriageways at 10:16, it is 2.3 km south from N45 point. It is the same place as Hideaki did.
After 30 minutes walk, I arrived the N45 point on the way.
I have to walk down to the stream within heavy bamboo bushes about 50 meters long. It took only 5 minutes to the stream. It was easy to walk along the stream, so first I stream up to the north about 15 meters and at the crossing point with another re-entrant, I turned to west and walked to E142 point. It is only 10 meters from the target point. My last work was climbing up to the south. I could reach the one big trees base, and got my GPS screen with zero values.
It took only 15 minutes after starting the attack.
Anyway previous report was useful very much for me, so I was not have any extra moving for this attack.
After taking photos, I was back to the carriage way after 15 minutes and was returned to parking point at 12:10.
I felt very happy and thanked not to meet with bears.
