1-сентября-2022 – По пути из Саранска в Саратов заехали в село Ускляй. От дороги до слияния 40 метров. Прошёл через огород с выкопанной картошкой. В конце огорода росли тыквы и арбузы. Пока искал «нули», подошли бдительные соседи и поинтересовались, не тыквы ли мы воруем. Лекция о системе координат, параллелях и меридианах их успокоила: «понятно – по работе».

Точка находится в Рузаевском районе Мордовии на северной окраине села Ускляй. От Саранска всего 25–30 км. Вокруг равнина с полями, огородами.

01-Sep-2022 – On our way from Saransk to Saratov we stopped by Usklyaj village. The confluence is 40 meters away from the road. I have crossed the potato garden (already harvested), with pumpkins and watermelons still ripening on it’s edge. While I was searching for “zeroes”, I was approached by vigilant neighbours who asked me if we were here to steal the pumpkins. After I gave them a lecture about coordinate system, latitudes and longitudes they calmed down and concluded that we are here “on business”.

The confluence is located in Ruzayevka district of Republic of Mordovia near the northern border of the village. It is only 25–30 kilometers away from Saransk. The place is surrounded by plain covered with fields and gardens.
