04-Aug-2002 -- Coming from Vlissingen (Netherlands) today we were passing again the Skagerrak (Skaw), inbound the Baltic Sea, on our way to Saint-Petersburg with frozen meat, pears and potatoes. At sunset we
visited 58N 10E in excellent visibility.
The confluence is slightly more than 46 km north of Hirtshals, a busy ferry and fishing port on the North coast of the Jylland Pensinsula.
We tried to have a closer look to Hirtshals, holding an extra powerful marine binocular in front of the Digicam-lens. The result is not extremely satisfactory, but better than nothing.
