19-Jul-2023 -- This is the 3^nd out of 5 reports visiting confluence points during a one-week bicycle trip in Southern Norway starting and ending in Stavanger. The story starts from 60°N 6°E and continues from 60°N 7°E.

On confluence day, I started from the village Haukeli. Due to nice head winds, I cycled easily 191km and reached the village Drangedal (also known as Prestestranda) in the later afternoon.

I decided to go for this confluence at the same day. A forest track of 16 km in length takes you to the CP. Only the last 700 m have to be hiked. I parked my bicycle and thought of a quick capture of the point. But I was mistaken: the terrain proofed to be rough, with steep cliffs. Between the 700m-distance-point and the CP there is a huge hill with steep flanks. I had to manoeuvre around the rock faces and it took me an hour to reach my goal.

I found the confluence in a pine forest with blueberry cover. There were several round rocks on rock faces – like the one just 25 m from the confluence. It is fascinating, that those rocks remain in such positions since the last glacial retreat.

Afterwards, I hiked back to the bicycle via a significantly easier route. I spent the night camping wild in the forest.
