02-Aug-2014 -- This is the fourth out of five reports reaching confluence points in Southern Norway.
The story starts from 60°N 11°E. The previous visit was 60°N 9°E.
My cycling route from Nesbyen was via Gol in the valley and Lykkja in the highlands. At around 1000 m elevation I came to an Utsikspunkt with indeed great views over the highlands to snow covered mountains in the distance. Then I dropped down to the extremely busy ski-village Vaset (surely some 1000 people hiking, eating, chatting or cycling there) in 1 km distance.
Right at the cabin no. 822 I stopped and walked the remaining 40 m to the confluence. Luckily the exact location is 10 m behind the fenced area around the cabin.
The confluence is located in spruce forest with a ground cover of grass end ferns. The exact location is at a pile of trunks leaned against a tree.
I continued cycling down to Fagernes and up again into the highlands, camping out in the wilderness for the fourth night in a row.
Besides: Google Streetview has also made a complete visit but not yet submitted it to confluence.org.
