26-Mar-2005 -- We first visited point 25S 25E, being previously visited, and lost 2 tires on one vehicle on the way to that point. Luckily we had 4 spare wheels between 3 vehicles.
The next day we set off to 25S 23E. We took the road 10 km north of Makopong to Mabuasehube National Park and turned off at Goa pan in direction northeast towards the confluence point. The area is not half as difficult to enter as the previous point and is accessible by vehicle. Halfway to the point, we crossed the dry Khekhe River, which is a lush green grassland compared to the rest of the Kalahari area.
We camped 1 km from the point and went there by vehicle the next day. From there we went to our final destination, Jack's Pan.
