This CP was my first visit outside Venezuela. I was on a business trip in Houston, so I decided try to visit any CP around the area on my free time. To arrive to CP was very easy with the help of my GPS a Garmin GPSMAP 276 and the City Select Map from Garmin using the auto routing function. The way I used was practically the one used by the second successful visitor.

At a glance I identified the house where CP it is located, thanks to the picture of one of the previous visitors. There was nobody at home at that time, so I walked to the back yard where it is the confluence ands proceed with the well known “Confluence Dance” and took the pictures. According to GPS this CP it is located at 13.6 masl. This zone it is an agricultural region but the CP it is located in a residence community. I lived in Houston for 9 months in 1991, but this visit allow to me to appreciate that no all is crystal buildings and large concrete highways. On my way bact to Houston, I could appreciate a very particular design of a motel

Este es el primer PC que visito fuera de Venezuela. Aprovechando que me encontraba en la ciudad de Houston por asunto de trabajo, decidí darle una visita a algunas confluencias de esta zona en mi tiempo libre. Para llegar a la zona me ayude con mi GPS Garmin GPSMAP 276 en el cual tengo cargado el mapa de Garmin City Select, el cual casi me llevo hasta el punto con la función “Autorouting”. La vía que utilicé fue prácticamente la empleada por el segundo visitante exitoso.

Rápidamente identifiqué la casa donde esta la confluencia, gracias por la foto de uno de los visitantes previos. En la misma no había nadie, así que caminé hacia la parte trasera y procedí con la conocida “Danza de la Confluencia”, la cual fue muy rápida. De acuerdo con el GPS, la elevación de este PC es de 13.6 msnm. El punto está localizado en el patio trasero de la casa mostrada en la foto. Esta zona es básicamente agrícola, sin embargo la confluencia está ubicada en una comunidad residencial. Yo había vivido en Houston por casi 9 meses en el año 1991, sin embargo el haber visitado esta confluencia me permitió conocer mas aun la región y percatarme que no todo es edificios de cristales y extensas autopistas. De regreso a Houston pude apreciar un diseño arquitectónico muy particular de un motel.
