08-May-2005 -- 34 N – 118 E Jiangsu (江苏), China
Visit Date: May 8, 2005
This is the fifth of six confluence points we hunted in Jiangsu during the weekend of May 1st holiday week.
After completed our hunt of 35N 119E before 8 am on our second day of dedicated hunting trip, we stopped by Gong Yu city for a good breakfast and started toward this confluence point by 9 am.
Most part of the drive was on a new expressway with hardly any traffic. We covered 140 km in little over an hour, and most of the remaining 30 km drive was on regular highway. The final 7 km came to a painful crawl due to poor surface of local road leading to the confluence point.
We reached Zhang-Xin village where this confluence point located around 11.30 am. The point located inside village about 5 meters in front of a home, but unfortunately nobody was home. There were a couple pigsties right within the range of accuracy of the confluence point.
The village is part of Wei-Ji Township in Shui-Ning County.
