29-May-2005 -- The Team formed by Glaucio (Me, GPS guide), Haline (photographer), Humberto (driver and boatman) and Maciel (jungle advisor), left of the city of Manaus/AM in direction to the West on state highway AM-010 until the Villa of Lindoia going by Black Rio of Eva, after 2 hours and 180km wheeled. Then we had to continue by ship down the river Urubu.

With no experience in marine orientation, the team took a risk and it faced the challenge that is to navigate in the arms of the fresh water of Amazonas. After 23,3Km of forest and river, we arrived to a place where we didn't have more conditions of continuing of ship, assuming an obligation to enter by foot in the Amazon Forest ('the lungs of the World').

Due to closed forest, the team had difficulties to arrive to the point that was at 200 meters of the place where we had left the ship. At 09:16am on May 29th 2005 we arrived to the point where the coordinates were zeroed and there we registered the confluence.

In the way back we took did some fishing for "tucunaré".
