22-Jun-2005 -- I visited Russia on my vacation and spent almost two weeks in my native town in Lipetsk region. I wanted to visit at least one confluence in the region and 53N 39E looked like a perfect place.
My dad and I departed early in the morning. We took two intercity buses. We started our walk on the bank of Krasivaya Mecha river then walked approximately 4 km on unpaved road and then crossed 1 km through the oat field. We were pleasantly surprised that confluence is located in a small grove around ravine. The grove itself is surrounded by tillages and fields and should confluence be in the field, photos would be dull.
The days before the visit were rainy so our boots, socks and jeans got wet, but fortunately we had a change.
It is interesting that my dad did not get the idea of going to "some unknown place" at first, but was very glad that he did that trip!
