16-Oct-2005 -- On yet another bright Sunday afternoon, I went hunting for my second confluence. This one proved easy as ABC. After driving for about forty five minutes down the Calder highway I turned onto the Parallel road and drove for about half an hour. Even though it was mostly dirt and sand, it was smooth and quite enjoyable.
At the intersection of Meridian road I turned left and drove just a couple hundred metres before parking my trusy Jackaroo by a fence which I jumped over before walking towards the goal. Saying I was on my own could be viewed a a lie since a few flies greeted me as soon as I was out of the vehicle. They went and told their friends and the more we advanced, the more we were.
Fortunatly it was just a hundred and fifty metres to the point. We got back to the car but I didn't give any of them a free ride. The way there (and back) from the main highway is nothing but wheat fields. I had a great time enjoying the solitude and the open fields. Try this one if you're a beginner and you're in the area.
