04-Feb-2006 -- When I approached this confluence I knew it laid on some farmer's land. I got as close to it as I could then went to a house and it just so happened that it too belonged to the landowner.
I introduced myself and told him why I was there. At first he thought I was a loony, then he was suspicious but eventually he was helpful and even showed me a dirt road I could take to drive a while and save some time. It was relatively straight forward with some fences to hop. One was an electric one and I forgot to stay grounded so I got a good jolt but it was a good reminder for the other ones.
I saw a fox there on the way back to the car. Those introduced pests wouldn't go down well with sheep farmers such as the gentleman who owns the place. Lovely country over there with great views of the Snowy mountains nearby.
