22-Apr-2006 -- We started at 8:30 a.m. on a lucky cloudy day as the temperatures on this region are already warm at this time of the year.
We departed from a very small town called Uvalama and hiked thru dry rocky river beds, climbed some very steep hills with no trails, made our way thru very dense bushes so after a 6 1/2 hour trek we found the "confluence point” of what the GPS said was 3.1 miles away (sure!! As the bird flies)
We took some picture of the place and the GPS it was 3:10 pm stayed there for a few minutes then headed back to were we left the car which took us another five hours for a total of 12 hours of very strenuous hiking.
