12-Aug-2006 -- On a rerun of the Overland Challenge semi final route of last year, the Condy family all met at Planet Baobab, with the express mission of spreading their parents' ashes at Baines' Baobabs.

As this Confluence was on the way and only about 20 meters off the road, I was excited to introduce my siblings to this pastime. The party consisted of Dini Condy, my wife, Kate Bristow (my sister) with husband John and daughter Ashleigh, Dave Condy (brother) with his wife Monica, and my youngest sister, Tigger Proctor. The 2 sisters had travelled from Zimbabwe. A very easy Confluence to find and only a 20 km out of the way round trip if you are travelling to Baines' Baobabs.
