05-Sep-2006 -- The weather continued to be good on our journey southwards. According to the GPS the confluence point was only a few kilometers away from the main road. An automobile map does not indicate much about the terrain. In this case it turned out to be quite a bit up and down through well maintained old pine forest.
I was not alone: The odd lonely reindeer drifted through the forest at a respectable distance. One old tree had scapings along the trunk. Any bears in the neighbourhood? Autumn colours! A great day!
