05-Nov-2006 -- The confluence is located in the North side of Japan must be visited before heavy snow fall.

I have planed to visit three confluences this time. The N37 E137 was in the middle of the Noto Peninsula. Nanao City is the biggest town of the Noto Pen. and was about 6Km to the target. I found ruins of Nanao Castle near the target and there was a way to them. After 10 hours driving including four hours short sleep, I was at the outskirts of Nanao.

It was very easy to reach the target, because the point was located just on the road. I parked a car at the wayside 30 meters to the target and just walk on the pavement. I think it is very rare that a confluence is just on the road. After taking photos I went to Nanao Castle observatory, marked with rectangle in the map, it was 1.4Km NNW away from the point.
