24-Jul-2007 -- This confluence was thought about for some time once our trip was in place. The trip to the area was a major factor as the Connie Sue Highway was not a very traveller friendly track at all, the corrugations kept our speed down to a crawl. We eventually came across a fairly well travelled track which turned out to be an easy run leading out on the 27S. We followed this until dark and set up a bush camp for an early "attack" on the confluence in the morning. The track seemed to trail off after the Sydney Yeo Range and campground turn off and was near on non existant at times the closer we travelled to 127E.
All the vehicles managed to get near the point and we had an easy 350-400 meter walk through the scrub to OUR confluence point. There was a good deal of cheer (and a few celebratory beverages) to be had as this was a first for the Peel 4 wheel drive Club. I have included a few shots of our groups achievment.
