30-Jul-2007 -- This is an interesting confluence point - located near the western edge of a small lake (Caribou Lake), near the far-eastern end of Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Robert Karwowski reached the confluence point in a kayak. Not having a boat, I had hoped to get close to the confluence point by driving or hiking along the western side of the lake. Unfortunately, there does not seem to be a road or trail that runs along the western edge of the lake. (There are several holiday homes along the lake shore, but few on the western side.) By driving, I wasn't able to get any closer than 0.57 miles, so this has to be recorded as an incomplete visit.
