23-Sep-2007 -- 22/09/2007 - Saímos de Fortaleza com destino a Crateús. À tarde, conseguimos alugar o carro do seu Zé Bombom. Fomos dormir ansiosos pelo dia seguinte.

23-Sep-2007 -- Acordamos entusiasmados. Após o café-da-manhã pegamos a estrada. Passamos por localidades difícies de se encontrar em qualquer mapa. Foram várias bifurcações na estrada, mas o GPS estava lá para nos orientar por onde ir. Finalmente chegamos próximo ao ponto. Não dava mais pra seguir de carro. Tivemos que encarar uma mata seca e bastante fechada. Depois de 1 (uma) hora de caminhada só conseguimos andar cerca de 100 metros. Devido às dificuldades, tivemos que "desistir", quando estávamos a 1.390 metros do ponto. Mas o pior ainda estava por vir. O carro acabou atolando na areia. Tivemos de andar mais de 8 (oito) quilômetros num sol de rachar a cuca! Finalmente, encontramos "seu" Juca, que com habilidade conseguiu desatolar o carro do areial. Chegamos na pousada bastante cansados, mas valeu a pena. Já estamos planejando onde será a próxima aventura. :-)

23-Sep-2007 -- 22/09/2007 -We leave Fortaleza and set to Crateús. In the afternoon, we rent a car and went to sleep anxious for the following day adventure.

23-Sep-2007 -- We wake up enthusiastic. After the morning coffee, we catch the road. We passed by sites difficult to finding in any map. There had been some forks in the road, but the GPS was there to guide us to where to go. Finally we arrived close to the point. It was impossible to follow by car. We had that to face a dry and sufficiently closed bush.

After 1 hour hike, we only managed to walk about 100 meters. Due to such difficulties, we had to give up, when we were at 1,390 meters from the point. But worse still it was for coming. The car finished bogging in the sand. We had to walk more than 8 (eight) kilometers in a sun that crack our heads. Finally, with help we find the way to release the car from the sand. We arrived in the inn sufficiently tired, but the effort was worth. We are now planning where will be our next adventure.
