The confluence spot is in a paddy field. In this season, rice was harvested. These plants in the photographs are called "Hikobae", which means grand children of seeds in Japanese.
This confluence is located near Mitsukaido, south area of Ibaraki prefecture. My home town is Tsukuba, where is 10km away from the spot. To get to there, I went to west via route 294, turned left at east bank of Kokai river, and arrived at the spot. It was easy to get to the spot.
Near the confluence, there is Fukuoka irrigation dam, where is famous for cherry blossoms. Spring is also good season.
