02-Feb-2008 -- A 125 mile round trip from Happy Valley - Goose Bay. Beautiful day for snowmobiling but still very cold. We left home @ 7am and crossed the Churchill River and headed up the new Trans Labrador Highway Phase III (still under construction and not plowed). We stopped and cooked brunch at a friends cabin (Brennan Lake). The new highway ends at the Kenamu River and we headed north from there to the closest point we could access via snowmobile. We strapped on snowshoes and walked 0.16 mile up 500' to the confluence intersection. We were lucky enough to get a picture of my GPS with the exact coordinates. After boiling up at the riverside we continued north to Lake Melville where we completed our round trip! A great time was had by all!!! Thank You
