24-Mar-2009 -- After several attempts to drive closer to the confluence point, we decided to leave our 4x4s some 1650 (according to my GPS) meters away. The dunes in front of us were too high to be driven over by car.
We walked a bit more than 1 hour to the precise confluence point. On the confluence point we've taken the required photographs, congratulated each other, and then walked back to our vehicles.
Weather was sunny, temperature around 22°C, no wind. Temperature of the sand was ideal for barefoot walking. The altitude of this confluence point was 474 meters above sea level according to my GPS. The visitors were: Bevc Miran, Bombek Franci, Login France, and our Libyan friend `Ali.
A couple of hours later, when arriving to the Alhamba lake, we realised that from that wādiy the approach to the confluence point is probably much easier.
