28-Apr-2009 -- Once again a confluence situated in a field and once again an easy access to within a few meters without damaging the crop. First I tried to get close to the DCP by driving into a small area with houses with nice gardens indicated at the map by purple lines. But the gardens prevented me from walking to the DCP.
Back to the Allée des Fougères I parked the car (the P in the map) at 350m and found a slippery footpath along the boundary of the gardens leading directly to the DCP. The general DCP image is taken from this path at about 75m from the DCP looking Northwest.
Using the trail of a tractor I could approach as close as 11 m without disturbing any plant. The N,E,S,W photographs are taken from this position; all directions are about 20° offset counterclockwise. The yellow field in the map is the yellow field in the East looking photograph. The colourful crop is rapeseed. other plants are also growing along the path.
Returning to my car I found it surrounded by a number of cars with ladies and daughters; my car was parked at the entrance of a horse riding facility at the right side of the path.
The weather was beautiful, the landscape was beautiful and the sky was beautiful. It was a pleasure to continue my journey.
