21-May-2009 -- It's a very hot weekend, 43°C in the shade. But the summer is coming, then now or never.

That was an easy way to find the confluence point. I took the highway from al-Riyāḍ to al-Kharj. Near al-Kharj I left the highway at Exit No.517, direction "Wādiy al-Dawāsir", then I took Main Road No.10 to the South. In the village al-Dilam, at the second traffic light: turn right. Behind the mosque: turn right. Petrol Station: turn left.

I took off and after 15 kilometers, I turned left to a desert track, direction East. Across a dry river and I had reached my confluence point of the weekend: 24N 47E.

It's only 650 m from the road and it is surrounded by red sands.

This was my first confluence visit, I'm very happy.
