03-Jun-2009 -- [37,-121] was my very first confluence visit, in October 1999. In the almost 10 years since, I have visited close to 100 more confluence points. I decided to celebrate my (almost) 10-year anniversary of confluence hunting by revisiting this confluence point with a much better camera, and also getting 'all zeros' (which would have been almost impossible in 1999, because 'selective availability' was still in force then).
The confluence point looked exactly the same as it did almost 10 years ago (except that, during this time, the nearby power pylons might have been upgraded, but I'm not sure about that).
A reminder to future visitors: The easiest way to reach this point is to turn from highway 152 onto Billy Wright Road at [37.05647,-120.95415]. Then, take this road (which turns to gravel/dirt along the way) until it reaches a locked gate at [37.01514,-120.99516], and park there. From this point, you have just over a 1-mile hike (or mountain bike ride) until you reach the confluence point.
