21-Июня-2009 – Ну вот, от точки N55°E57° мы едем домой. По прямой это 1230 км, а по дороге более полутора тысяч. У меня были небольшие планы на конфлюентную охоту на обратный путь, но все поменялось, и в последний момент я решил заехать на уже посещенную точку N55°E55°. Во-первых, координаты примечательные, во-вторых, первый визит описан скупо, в-третьих, это не будет сильным крюком на моем пути домой.

Сначала мы пообедали, потом плутали по окраинам Уфы в поисках нужного выезда. Тут интересное дело – Уфу и Москву связывают две федеральные трассы, М5 и М7. Вторая, кажется, километров на 200 короче, да и пошире, но выезд на нее найти было непросто. И вот, километров в пятидесяти северо-западнее Уфы, в Кушнаренково, мы сворачиваем на запад к селе Байталлы. Дорога асфальтированная, довольно населенная. Уже вечер, но весьма жарко. Появляется идея купить мороженое в одной из деревень и, как ни странно, со второй попытки это удается. Надо сказать, что в отличие от областей ЦФО, здесь, в Башкирии, деревни «живые», ведется строительство, работают магазины. Я не запомнил название той деревушки, где мы купили вкуснейший пломбир всего за 7 рублей!

Наконец, приезжаем в Байталлы, далее до Бакаево идет грунтовка. Снимков местности из GE на этот раз у меня нет (эту точку я заранее не планировал), и я ориентируюсь по карте. Вроде, в Бакаево надо перебраться на другой берег реки Чермасан, но как-то так вышло, что дорога обходит Бакаево стороной и я уже проскочил южнее. Что же, еду дальше на юг и, следуя навигатору, заезжаю в село Нижнесаитово. Отсюда до цели менее полутора километров, но моста нет. Опросив местных, я узнаю, что мост есть и южнее, в Верхнесаитово, на удалении в 3,6 км от точки. Я направляюсь туда и далее еду по полевой дороге снова вдоль реки на север.

Последние 750 метров мы идем пешком по полю. Заветные цифры из нулей и пятерок находим легко! Уже почти 9 вечера, но погода прекрасная, как все эти 10 дней, проведенных в Башкирии. Мы очень надеемся сюда еще приехать!

21-Jun-2009 – Well, after 55°N 57°E we drove homeward. It is 1230 km by the missile fly and more than 1500 km by the roads. I had some little plans for confluence hunting during my back way, but everything has changed and I decided to visit 55°N 55°E at the last moment. There were some reasons. Firstly, this confluence has remarkable coordinates, secondly, first visit has very poor narrative, thirdly, it will not big detour in my way home.

At first we had lunch, then reached Ufa city (the regional capital) and drove there round in circles searching exit to M7 road. It's interesting that there are two federal routes between Moscow and Ufa, they are M5 and M7. The latter seemed to be 200 km shorter, generally it has better conditions as well. But it was hard to find necessary exit. Finally we found it and in Kushnrenkovo (it is 50 km northwestward from Ufa) we turned to the west towards Baitally settlement. The road is asphalted and has populated surrounding area. It was evening but it was quite hot. We wanted to buy ice-cream in some village nearby. It's wonderful, but we could do it after second attempt. I want to say that rural area here, in Bashkortostan, differs from regions in Central Federal District of Russia. All villages are “alive”, there are house constructions here and there, there are shops and they are open. I didn't remember the name of the village where we bought the delicious full-cream ice for only $0.2!

We came in Baytally, and there is a gravel road further towards Bakyaevo. This time I had no GE satellite views of the area (I didn't plan this confluence visit) and I oriented myself with the map. It looked that I needed to go to another bank of Chermasan river in Bakayebo. But it happened that the road passed aside Bakaevo and I've just missed it in the southern direction. Well, I decided to drive further to the south. I navigated according the GPS and came into Nizhnesaitovo village. Here is less than 1.5 km to the confluence, but there is no bridge here. I asked local villagers and learned that there is one more bridge, in Verkhnesaitivo village. It is more southwards from here and it is 3.6 km from the CP. I headed there and then drove onto a field dirt road along the river to the north.

The last 750 metres we walked onto the field. The cherished digits, zeros and fives were easily found! It was almost 9 pm, but it was warm, weather was fine as long as all these 10 days that we spent in Bashkotostan! We do hope to come here once more time!
