08-Sep-2009 -- After a long driving and working day in Eastern Bavaria, I decided to reward myself with the visit of my first Czech confluence. I left the highway from Waidhaus at exit 128 and drove through numerous small villages until I found Bezdekov.

What I didn´t know was that the way to walk from the next town Branisov must be significantly shorter... so I parked the car outside of Bezdekov and the GPS showed me 1500 distance to the confluence...not too far away to walk.

Well...after one hour, after having climbed up and down the hill, I found the confluence, but the signal is not very good due to dense vegetation at this location.

I took my photos and recognized that this was confluence No. 9 on 50° North for me. Enjoying the very nice late summer weather, I returned to the car and drove back to Germany.
