22-Sep-2009 -- We covered this confluence point while returning from a camping trip on top of Jabal Šams via Wādiy Ġūl, Wādiy Ḍamm, and the beehive tombs at al-`Ayn on the foothills of Jabal Mišṭ. This point is easily accessible from the Highway 21.
Though the expedition convoy had 5 cars under my lead, only we and our sweep car with the Joshi family in it went to the confluence point while the others patiently waited for us on the highway. Driving through a dry river bed and gravel track, we could take our cars right upto the Ground Zero, where a bush proudly stands at the confluence point.
Nothing much has changed at the spot from what was reported in the earlier visit reports. We clicked some pictures and decided to move on to our next target 24N 56E.
