16-Apr-2010 -- This was the first recorded visit to this confluence point in more than 5 years, but - with a 4WD vehicle - it turned out to be quite easy to reach. From the town of Littlefield, Arizona (off I-15, as it runs between Nevada and Utah) I headed North on the paved highway. Shortly after crossing into Utah, I took a dirt road to the left. This road ran diagonally southwest, crossing back into Arizona, and ending up in a creek bed just southeast of the confluence point, at 36.97775,-113.98702. I think some previous visitors hiked from this point; however, the 'road' continues (with tire tracks) up the stream bed, towards the confluence point. In my 4WD SUV, I was able to continue driving (crossing the creek several times) until I was just about 1/4 mile from the confluence point.

The confluence point lies on the western edge of a creek bed, just 30 feet south of a fence that appears to mark the Arizona-Utah state line. (About 2 miles west of here is the boundary point where Arizona, Utah and Nevada meet. I didn't have time on this trip to try to hike there, but it might be a fun excursion for a future visitor.)
