11-Jul-2010 -- This was another easy to reach confluence in rural central Alberta. From Edmonton, going down Highway 21, making a turn west on Highway 13, and a turn south onto Range Road 214. Although we parked on the gravel road, you can actually drive to the confluence point on the muddy property. The land was recently ploughed and sowed with grass. You can walk to the point from the road in about 2 minutes.
The one remarkable part about this confluence is its close proximity to two small lakes. Although Google Satellite shows that Range Road 214 has a lake in the middle of it, it really is just a lake to the east.
The other notable feature is we threw a bunch of rocks at the confluence point (see picture) although the height of it was relatively small so I don't know if future explorers will see it or not.
