14-Feb-2011 -- I managed to visit this easy confluence point during a week-long holiday exploring Australia's island state of Tasmania. As I drove through the Huon Valley southwest of Hobart, I saw road signs proclaiming this as being "The southernmost municipality in Australia".

Browns Road - the closest road to the confluence point - turned out not to be on my GPS receiver's map, so it took me a bit longer than expected find it. (At first, I was led a bit astray and took the next road to the north, which doesn't get any closer than about 1 km.) However, Browns Road - a narrow gravel road - passes just 15 meters east of the confluence point, which itself lies on a separate, abandoned road cut, among gum trees. (I wonder: What percentage of Australia's confluence points lie among gum trees? It must be a high number.)
